The importance of the 'Green' Courier

Over the last 12 months we have seen an increase in the number of courier companies looking to become more environmentally friendly.

The nature of the Courier industry means that the delivery of letters and parcels requires transport, and for international courier shipments this can mean planes and ships.

So how can UK Courier companies help to reduce the impact of their day to day tasks on the environment?

Simple! From top to bottom we can look at the way we operate as a business. This can be as simple as switching the office light off during the day, using 'green' packaging for our shipments and the type of vans and vehicles that we drive.
